International Intensive Programme

As part of the Creative Arts Masters Programme students will be given the opportunity to participate in an International Intensive Programme, this programme takes place in Jan and runs for a week to 10 days. The intensive programme is supported by Erasmus mobility exchange funding. In 2014 the programme was in Antwerp with Saint Lucas University, the programme brought together a number of Masters programmes from Belgium and Switzerland. The programme for 2014 was entitled 'Staging the Studio' and took place in the old AXA building in Antwerp, the students had access to the building for one week and on the Friday of the week the space was opened to the public. The building was demolished two weeks after the event. The DIT MA students participated in 'Staging the Studio' in 2014.Staff from the participating programme also gave seminars, lectures and crits throughout the week.  Staff and PhD students from the school of Art, Design and Printing also participated, (Clodagh Emoe, Dr. Tim Stott and Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick). The next international intensive programme will take place in Jan 2015 in either Serre Switzerland or Saint Lucas School of Art and Design Antwerp.
