o    Acquire practical experience in critical writing competencies for different audience types – specialist, generalist, and non-academic etc.
o    Develop practical applications of competency in oral presentation and other communication formats with specialist and non-specialist audiences.
o    Apply critical reflection skills in communicating key aspects of the individual project work

o    Demonstrate pro-active initiative within a peer community in developing familiarity with knowledge at the forefront of the field of enquiry.
o    Develop collaborative competencies – more fully integrated team-based work practices as demonstrated through co-organising public event as part of a team
o    Critically contextualize personal project work with reference to the state-of- platy with respect to their chosen field / objects of study




Project development

o    Generate an interim body of work demonstrating the development of their personal project work
o    Initiate the translation of the initial proposal into a programme of actualised concrete production and action manifesting preliminary outputs.

Project Delivery

o    The student is required to evolve and implement a research proposal developed initially through <earlier modules> The work must demonstrate a significant degree of innovation and deploy specific research competencies and domain expertise developed through the lecture series and course work already completed. In presenting this work the student is required to make a presentation of their project work to a collection of their peers, the assessment team and invited guests.
